A G8 meeting is being hold in Northern Ireland, Obama and Putin both push for Syria summit. Both the US as well as Russian presidents have acknowledged at the G8 meeting in Northern Ireland that they have a different stance on Syria, but agreed to push for a summit at Geneva. Both of the presidents also mentioned that they were positive about the newly elected Iranian president, and that they have an optimistic view for its future. But despite having different stances towards Syria, they both said that they were on common grounds when it came down to putting a peaceful end to the war.
My opinion:
I am very happy to hear this news. I hope that for all the most important issues in the world, in the future, they will be holding grand scale meetings like this in order to work out international problems like this one. Of course one could already foresee that the Russian and the US president would take on different stances on their opinion about Syria. But what really lift my concerns was that both of the presidents want to end the war and the men slaughter on both sides. I'm glad they want to come with a peaceful solution

NHS baby deaths scandal. The bosses of the Care Quality Commission watchdog are to be summoned to Parliament to explain an alleged cover-up over a hospital where as many as 16 babies died. The Government is putting £40 million into reforming the Commission, to ensure that its inspections are conducted by experts and result in Ofsted-style reports which give confidence to the public about the standards at their local hospital, he said. The shadow Health Secretary Andy Burnham told The Independent: “This is a cover-up that happened on this government's watch. It has got serious questions to answer.”
My Opinion:
I think that it is a very tragic event that has taken place after many years of nothing equal. I am convinced that this tragedy has happend because of the neglect to maintenance on that section in the hospital. I do not understand why a cover-up has taken place instead of an honest report. Everybody makes mistakes, but in this area of arts there should be less mistakes made, especially when it is due to lack of maintenance. I don't think that the 40 million pound, which the government is going to spend on the conduction of inspections, will be able to give confidence to the public about their local hospital ever again.

Madeleine McCann: UK prosecutors visit Portugal to discuss new leads.
Senior  prosecutors have travelled to Portugal, in order for the Metropolitan police to begin a new investigation on the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. Alison Saunders, the senior crown prosecutor for London, and her colleague Jenny Hopkins, head of the complex casework unit, discuss the new leads in the inquiry with their Portuguese counterparts. The review of the case is going to cost about 5 million pounds. The review, which began in 2011, has uncovered a number of potential suspects who have not been interviewed. Detectives have said they need to be questioned in order for them to be eliminated or pursued further.
My opinion:
In my opinion, to keep it nice, this is completely unnecessary and a total waste of time and money. Beside trying to accuse innocent people for the abduction of Madeleine McCann, there will also be a lot of money gone to waste. I am convinced that with this stupid review of the case, and because they are going to spend money on it in order to not lose face, they will point their fingers out eventually at one or two innocent people who haven't been able to defend themselves completely, and innocent people will be taking blame for the parents' fault.

Nigel Farage admits setting up tax haven trust fund was a mistake. Nigel Farage the leader of the UK Independence party, has admitted setting up a trust fund in an offshore tax haven which could have enabled him to cut his tax bill. Farage told the Daily Mirror: "My financial advisers recommended I did it, to have a trust really for inheritance purposes and I took the advice and I set it up. It was a mistake. I was a completely unsuitable person for it. I am not blaming them, it was my fault.''
My opinion:
Here again you see a total hypocrite of a politician, nothing new to be seen here. Farage told the fellow European parliament members that tier common enemy was ''rich people, successful companies evading tax'' and what do we see here, a tax fraud on absolute massive scale by the same guy who seemingly was opposing the exact same idea.  I think that things like these are only natural for politicians to happen who make a mistake, and the ones that don't make a mistake and execute their jobs correctly, get away with it.

Student sex work could be contributing hundreds of millions of pounds a year towards the higher education economy, according to researchers who claim that institutions are more concerned about preserving their image than investigating the issue. The academic study, first of its kind, suggests that as many as 6 % of students could now be employed in part-time sex work such as pole or lap dancing, stripping, escorting or prostitution to help fund their studies. Dr Ron Roberts, of Kingston University, the study’s lead author, said too little was being done to help students tempted into sex work. “Everybody knows this goes on,” he said. “They are just burying their heads in the sand. It is a student welfare issue. Anyone with an ounce of common sense can see that.”
My opinion:
I've got to hand it to Sir Dr Ron Roberts, the man is right on spot with his statement. Anyone with the least of common sense would understand that the problem lies with the support and funding that is being neglected of towards the students. In my opinion this is what kind of situations there will be when the government won't partly or completely fund students' educations. This fault on this issue lies completely with the government, and they should be ashamed of themselves. But I am afraid they will not feel any form of responsibility on this matter.
