The British state is spying on Muslims undercover police and security officers are infiltrating mosques, communities and homes, and are regressively seeking to entrap. The tactics the police and the MI5 are using are quite simple, they place recording devices within mosques and environments of worships. The question remains whether the police and MI5 is successfully fighting terrorism or terrorizing ethnical groups. In the movie recording you can see and hear that the Muslim man which is arrested this way, saying that he approves of the ways of the jihad and elaborates on how to kill British soldiers in Muslim countries.
My opinion:
I think that the police and the MI5 has successfully found a way to fight terrorism within the UK. In the news report you can see that the son is telling the reporter in a educated way that what the police and MI5 are doing is inhumane and that you shouldn't impose and pretend as someone who believes in a religion because it is an insult against god. But this is not a sufficient reason to convince me that this way of fighting crime is bad. Yes, the family will have some trusting issues now but a terrorism preacher has been arrested.
